The project
What we set out to do
A five-bedroom villa planned around a central courtyard that brings light and air into the heart of the home.
Walnut joinery and cane detailing give the interiors a contemporary Indian character that still feels calm and modern.
The challenge
The courtyard layout meant long circulation and a lot of glazing to design around without losing privacy or storage.
Our solution
We used the courtyard walls for concealed storage and layered sheers and joinery to balance openness with privacy.
