The project
What we set out to do
A four-bedroom riverside villa that needed to feel warm and generous without losing its light. We reworked the ground floor around a single open living, dining and kitchen volume that opens to the garden.
Warm oak joinery, stone floors and brass detailing run through the home, tied together with a calm, neutral palette.
The challenge
The open plan risked feeling cold and echoey, and the family needed a lot of hidden storage without cluttering the clean lines.
Our solution
We layered warm materials and soft lighting to add intimacy, and built full-height concealed storage into every wall so surfaces stay clear.
